As our preparations for the final concert in our season of
Masses of Masses (Saturday 5 December) - a programme of Haydn

Mozart - continues, our programme for 2016 has been revealed!
Rutter leading the 2012 day
On Saturday 27 February 2016 the internationally acclaimed
composer and conductor John Rutter CBE returns to Northampton
to lead a wonderful singing day, including his new large-scale work
"The Gift of Life: Six Canticles of Creation". More information on
this day, to which all are welcome (though with over 200 singers are
already signed up, we suggest you book NOW to avoid disappointment!)
may be
found here.
Giuseppi Verdi
Gioachino Rossini
The popularity of our Masses of Masses theme both amongst the
choir and our audiences, have led us to present another themed
selection of concerts, Viva l'Italia!, beginning on
Saturday 19 March 2016 with Verdi's Requiem and concluding on
Saturday 9 July
2016 with Rossini's Petite Messe Solennelle. The Verdi will be
performed with orchestra and four stellar soloists, and the Rossini
in its original conception with four soloists and the accompaniment
of grand piano and harmonium. We are delighted to announce
that Northampton-born international concert pianist, broadcaster,
and composer, David Owen Norris will be our star pianist! You can
watch extracts of Verdi and Rossini at the bottom of the page.
