					Information:
Our fourth commercial CD, recorded in our home
church of St Matthew’s, Northampton, was recorded in October
2016 and commemorates the life of Constance Travis
(1911-2015), a stage actress who married into the
Northampton family that eventually became Travis Perkins. In
later life, she became a philanthropist who founded the
Constance Travis Charitable Trust, which has made grants to
					numerous charities locally and nationally.

The disc features our own Musical Director’s arrangement of
movements from Fauré’s Messe des pêcheurs de Villerville and
Messe basse, making a composite Mass entitled Messe Brève.
The Music Director of the London Bach Choir contributes his
arrangement of Fauré’s Requiem, and the disc is rounded off
with a number of Fauré’s shorter choral and instrumental
works, not least the ever-popular Pavane, here arranged for
violin, cello, and harp, by Dewey Owens. |

					Information:
Recorded in the glorious acoustic of St. Mary’s Church,
Wellingborough, the Northampton Bach Choir are joined by the
					Choirs of
					All
Saints’ Church, Northampton, to raise the roof with
over 150 singers! Under their Director of Music, Lee
Dunleavy, and with Stephen Meakins accompanying on piano,
our new disc juxtaposes sacred and secular carols, in fresh
new arrangements by North American composers.

We are particularly pleased to feature five carols by one of
the choir’s favourite arrangers, Dan Forrest, including the
first recording of his rhythmic and vital arrangement of
O come, all ye faithful. A number of the tracks are the
first commercial recording of the arrangements, and our
accompanist is joined by duet partner Hilary Punnett on four
tracks to increase the range and drama in the
accompaniments. This is a disc to set toes tapping and to
