Our Principal Venue
We hold the majority of our concerts at St Matthew's Church on the
Kettering Road in Northampton (NN1 4RY). This has been the home of the
choir since our first concert in 1935, and we are proud to continue our
association.The church has wooden seating throughout (many regular
audience members bring a small cushion with them!), but the exact
seating layout varies from concert-to-concert.
If you would like a seat in the central block (the Nave), it is best to
consider
joining our Friends
scheme, which gives you priority. New for 2025, seats in the Nave
may be numbered so for some concerts, you may be able to select where
you sit when you book. Otherwise we recommend that you arrive early
(doors open 30 minutes before the start of each concert), as there will
be unreserved seats in the side aisles.
