Ticket Information
How to book your tickets

Our Principal Venue

We hold the majority of our concerts at St Matthew's Church on the Kettering Road in Northampton (NN1 4RY). This has been the home of the choir since our first concert in 1935, and we are proud to continue our association.

The church has wooden seating throughout (many regular audience members bring a small cushion with them!), but the exact seating layout varies from concert-to-concert.

If you would like a seat in the central block (the Nave), it is best to consider joining our Friends scheme, which gives you priority. New for 2025, seats in the Nave may be numbered so for some concerts, you may be able to select where you sit when you book. Otherwise we recommend that you arrive early (doors open 30 minutes before the start of each concert), as there will be unreserved seats in the side aisles.

Purchasing Tickets

Online
Tickets are available to purchase online using a credit/debit card. Depending on which concert you wish to book, clicking the 'Buy Tickets Online' button will take you to one of our booking partner's websites either The Royal & Derngate Northampton or Trybooking . If you have difficulty booking online, please contact marketing@northamptonbachchoir.co.uk and we will be happy to help.

On the Door
A limited number of tickets may be available on the door, though we recommend booking in advance. If you do purchase on the door, you can pay by cash or credit/debit card. Tickets bought on the door will be £1 more each than the advertised price for pre-booking.

Admission to certain events is free. However, we ask that you show your appreciation by making a generous donation to any collection.

Programmes and interval refreshments can be paid for by cash or credit/debit card.

Concessions

Concessions are available on selected performances for people in receipt of certain benefits, those in full time education and over 65s. You may be asked to provide proof of eligibility. Concessions are subject to availability and may not be available on every seat. If you have any questions please contact us.

Booking fees

Our booking partners typically charge a booking fee for purchasing tickets online. For example, Trybooking charges a booking fee of 5% of the face value of your ticket.

Refunds

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds. However, in exceptional circumstances beyond our control, where an event has been cancelled, we may be able to offer a refund of some or all of the ticket price. This will be solely at the discretion of the committee.
